Match Arrangements

  1. The Durham Coast Cricket League fully endorses and complies with the ECB Child Welfare Policy known as Safe Hands.
  2. Membership shall be open to all, irrespective of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, creed, colour, social status, or sexual orientation.
  3. The Durham Coast Cricket League recognises that it has a duty of care for the young people playing within the League. Therefore, it insists that all junior wicket keepers whether standing up, or back, must wear a helmet and that the current ECB fielding restrictions will apply.
  4. Yearly Subscriptions, shall be £20 per club and should be paid to the Junior Divisions Treasurer on, or before April 1st each year.
  5. All result sheets including abandoned fixtures should be received by the relevant person within 72 hours of the fixture.
  6. All non returned, incomplete, or late result sheets will receive an imposed fine. £5.00 Non Returned £3.00 Late/Incomplete.
  7. A Non fulfilment of a fixture will be dealt with by the League Executive.
  8. All matches will be played on the date and time appointed in the League Handbook.
  9. Umpiring of 11s/13s/15s/fixtures should be done so by an adult.
  10. It is a requirement that junior players must be registered before the season commences with the Junior Divisions Secretary.
  11. Following the completion of each fixture, it is the responsibility of each Captain to complete, and forward the oppositions Man of the Match nomination.
  12. It is a requirement that all Junior teams are accompanied by a responsible adult.
  13. Junior players registered with the Durham Coast Cricket League are not permitted to play for another club in any other Junior League during that current season, unless, a transfer request has been received by the League Secretary.
  14. All clubs must ensure, that each young person’s parent/carer completes and signs the Club Registration Document.
  15. All clubs are required to complete the Child Protection Procedure documentation and return to the League Welfare Officer, before the commencement of the season.
  16. All discipline matters will be dealt with by the Full League Executive.
